It’s been far too long since I last wrote. Have been working on some writing projects, will upload some of my journalist reviews. And also… getting stuck back into some TV. Finished filming role of ‘Preeti’ for next series of the ITV’s Whitechapel. And what a script, terrifying, eerie, well-written. Great actors to work with. Can’t wait to see it!

I have just confirmed the second run of The Tricycle’s ‘The Great Game’ in London for 6 weeks this July 2010, due to popular demand. This is followed by a US tour of the play.

‘The Great Game’ takes audiences through a theatrical journey of Afghanistan from 1842 to present day with a host of playwrights including Richard Bean, David Edgar, Ron Hutchinson, Simon Stephens, JT Rogers, Simon Stephens and Abi Morgan.

Rima Brihi directed me, Nabil Elouahabi and Andy Lucas in Ben Ellis’ The Lemon Tree of Kensington’ outside Chelsea Theatre as part of the Across the Street, Around the World Festival

Award winning playwright Ben Ellis collected tales from Arab diaspora communities weaving them into a rich cultural tapestry featuring characters from across the Middle East, each with their own story to tell.

I appeared on the ITV’s British drama television series ‘The Fixer’. Set in modern day Britain, it follows the life of an ex-British special forces soldier arrested by police after he killed his aunt and uncle following his discharge from the military.

I was recently seen in Bollywood hit ‘Love Aaj Kal’ playing Neha, Saif Ali Khan’s sister. Neha. By FilmFare nominated director Imtiaz Ali (for Jab We Met), LAK proved to be a box office hit internationally.
